APPT Season 2 - How to Enter

HOW TO ENTER

The easiest way to win a seat at an APPT event is to qualify online with PokerStars.

PokerStars will run satellite tournaments for each APPT event, giving players the chance to win prize packages that include tournament buy-in, hotel accommodation and money for expenses.

To enter, go the tournament lobby, click "Events", then "APPT".

Direct Buy-in Information

Players who would like to register in advance for an APPT event (and be guaranteed a seat) should e-mail registrations@pokerstars.net to receive instructions on sending their payment by wire transfer or bank draft. Players may purchase a main event entry, or an accommodation package, depending on availability.

The deadline for advance payment by wire transfer or bank draft is generally two weeks before any event.

Please note that for the events in Macau, Auckland and Sydney, players can also buy in directly on-site at the casino.

W$ Buy-In Information

Depending on availability, players may buy in to APPT events using W$, providing they have PlatinumStar or Supernova VIP status on PokerStars. Requests for W$ direct buy-ins must be submitted to registrations@pokerstars.net and must be received before the final online qualifying tournament on PokerStars, and whilst PokerStars still has seats to sell. To avoid disappointment, please notify PokerStars as soon as possible if you want to buy-in directly.

All W$ buy-ins to APPT events will be PokerStars sponsored players for that APPT event, and they are required to wear PokerStars logo gear for the duration of the tournament. All players who buy-in with W$ will be supplied with a PokerStars player bag.
